# Invite your team (/docs/organizations/invite-members)

Open **Settings › Organization settings › Users & invitations** (owners can also do this in the
last step of [workspace setup](/docs/get-started/set-up-workspace)).

1. Choose **Add people**, then the **With an email invitation** tab. Only the workspace owner sees it
on. Paste one or more email addresses, separated by commas, spaces or new lines. Invalid and
already-invited addresses are marked before sending.
2. Choose a template for the Factory OS tasks, for example Sales office, Buyer, Store keeper, Production
supervisor, QC inspector, QA manager, Maintenance technician, EHS officer or Org admin. The template sets the
app roles. See [Give a person tasks](/docs/settings/people-by-tasks).
3. Send. Each person gets an email with a link that works for 7 days. While an invitation is
pending you can **Resend** or **Revoke** it.

The invited person opens the link, sets a password, and joins with that role. See
[Accept your invitation](/docs/get-started/create-account).

Workspace roles in the account service are `owner`, `admin` and `member`; the Factory OS role
above is what controls access to each module.
